We'll have to fly to where ever it is so an airport must be within 200 miles. It also must be a cool region as it will be summer time. Also can you suggest a guide company to go with it?

I'm not from here so I don't understand, but I hear people doing this sometimes. But if that's the case, shouldn't people from other states be making fun of people from Texas, since no matter how you put it, Texas is still in the south? As I see it, you have no room to talk.

We are traveling to Wash DC and several of us are over 65 yrs old. At least one has difficulty walking for extended periods. Are there any suggestions for sightseeing taking this into consideration? And what about the recent reports of attacks on tourists?

At what elevations does a normal (not necessarily very fit, but not sick person either) begin to notice their breath getting short, or their heart working a bit harder. E.g. someone going from about sea level to 8,000 ft to see the Rockies... would it be that noticable? What about 5,000 ft?

Give me some ideas. I don't make a lot of money and have a two year degree. I'm an artist and enjoy cultural things like live music and parks where you can ride your bike on a sunday.
