You can take Metro transit from the airport to downtown for probably $2.50. You can use their trip planner to figure out the best route. Here is the link:

Another option would be Shuttle Express, which runs about $25, but they'll take you directly to your hotel with fewer stops.
If you were to take a cab, depending on time of day, it would probably cost you about $35.
Seatac Airport is about 15 miles from downtown and in good traffic, you can get there in 20 minutes.

Gray Line of Seattle operates the Airport Express bus service between the downtown Seattle Hotels and SeaTac Airport. It operates every 20 minutes or so directly outside the airport terminals. Very nice buses, drivers and convenient service. The fare is about $10.00 each way. No brainer - the best way to go.
