I just set a music trivia question here on Y!A about the famous 1967 Velvet Underground song 'Waiting For The Man', which, of course, references 'Lexington 125'.

I added: 'PS: If you're from New York, please feel free to settle once and for all whether this is in Harlem or Manhattan!' because there's a debate on this at:

Can anyone shed light on this?

Even better, does anyone know the approximate location where Mr Reed did his little 'transactions' (based on fact, apparently?) What was the area like then? What's it like now?

If I would video record a tape using a vhs camera, and all I wanted to send through the mail was the little tape, how would I go about doing that? I'm pretty sure I just cant stick it in the mail.

Also, If i sent it out Tuesday(considering Monday the postal service isnt working) will my tape get to California by Friday or on Friday by any chance?

Just wondering since im making my cousin a videotape of stuff for his birthday since he hasnt been home from the Air Force in about 5 years. Im just gonna record a bunch of stuff of people he hasnt seen in years.
