Foggy Bottom.
When they were planning the Metro the people and merchants of Georgetown didn't want all that "riff raff" (us) coming in by the thousands, so they opted not to have a station. Now, of course, they're really sorry.
Here's a map showing the Foggy Bottom station and the neighborhood around it. Basically, you want to get onto Pennsylvania Avenue and walk West until it ends onto M Street, which is the beginning of Georgetown.

Good luck!

You could either do Foggy Bottom or Roslyn and just walk across the bridge. Both are on the Orange Line, Foggy Bottom with drop you off furthest from Georgetown Uni. and Roslyn closest to Georgetown Uni. It just depends which side you want to be on.
