Also, does anyone know if I have my Master's degree from the United States, will it be accepted for employment consideration in the UK.
I am a physician assistant interested in moving to the UK and I am already married so that is not an option.
And how long does it usually take?
Thanks

I asked a question about the Simpsons and the fact that they think we use kilometers and was surprised how many people are taught that America is the only place still using miles! I'm wondering why they are taught something that is wrong. I live in the UK by the way and we definately use miles!

This does not necessarily have to be a cruise ship; a cargo ship that takes passengers would do just as well.

Hi,
I am trying to decide whether or not I want to move to Sugar Land, TX or Austin. I found a job teaching Spanish in Sugar Land that pays very very well. However, it seems like there is nothing to do there and the surrounding areas look kinda ugly. Austin looks pretty but the pay is about $4000 to $5000 less a year!
Is there anything to do in Sugar Land besides shop and eat? Because if not then I might have to take the pay cut and move to Austin where there is actually stuff to do! (lots of outdoor activities and culture)

Hi! I am currently planning on relocating to Texas and I was wondering which area was the best...Austin, Houston, Sugar Land, or Corpus Christi. I want to teach high school Spanish and I think Sugar Land pays the best but I'm not sure if that's the best place to go.
Right now I'm looking into Austin and possibly Corpus Christi.
I love the outdoors and nature and cities with culture which seems like Austin but affordability is key as well.
Houston seems like it's affordable but doesn't seem very pretty as far as outdoor recreation. Is Corpus Christi pretty? Are there things to do there?
Any information would help. If you have an opinion for one city can you tell me why it's better? Thanks!

I'm going to use the G.I. bill, and so there has to be a college. I don't want to start at a big university. I don't want a big city because I hate the traffic and the people seem to be less friendly. I'm a country boy, and I'm looking for the same kind of people to hang out with. I have three months left in New York before I have to decide. I also love country music, and I would prefer a few country bars in the town as well. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
