I travelled from Montreal to London last August on the ship
Canmar Venture,I also Know there are various shipping Co. that
ply the west coast. I would say that it was absolutely fantastic
I had a huge cabin, with fridge video (loads of films)& shower
etc. Three huge meals a day, & cheap liquer it took 8 days.

In the sixties my sister sailed on a banana boat to the West Indies which was apparently a lot of fun, these days I guess ask around.Most of the well known shipping companies will probally charge the earth. Good Luck though.
