One of the best months of the year! Not to hot, usually in the 80's and the best thing about Vegas is the sky is usually (about 95% of the year) clear blue. Have fun, and don't forget Black Jack has the best odds in th house.

When I was in Vegas last October, it was in the low 80's during the day and high 50's at night. Unless you're from a fairly dry area to begin with, Vegas is probably less humid than you're used to. You'll need plenty of lip balm and water. Keep in mind that the casino/hotels are air conditioned to the max, so take a sweater or such with you even during the day. You'll need it come evening, anyway. Don't forget sunscreen and shades.

Laughing my azz off at some of these answers! I live in Vegas and let me tell you - Sept and Oct are the nicest months!!! Very nice out during the day and comfortable at night. Living here and being a desert rat, I need a light sweater/jacket at night.......but then again I'm sure my blood is thinner than most people east of Nevada. LOL

I was married on Oct 27 2001 and it was still warm - and that was the end of OCTOBER!!!! But in no way hot............and whoever said HOT AND HUMID - I'm gonna guess he/she has no clue as to what they are talking about!!!

Have fun when you come out!

Iwent to las vegas when i was 19years old to stay for two nights as part of a tour. It was end of september and the weather was warm but not overbearing at all. I'd say it was better than we normally have in the uk.

Wunderground.com is the best weather link I've ever found.
Go to the website and select the city you want to know about. When that city pops up, look midway down the screen to see a place where you can look up weather history.
It's wonderful!

A link for your city is below.

It is actually nice...everyone that visits once in a blue moon assumes it's hot. ^^^^^^^
Unless your coming from Alaska it not hot in October it is perfect. The highs are in the 80's and the nights dip down to the 40s.

HOT! But, I like it that way, to be honest. I mean... everything is air conditioned there, anyway. You can get great deals on the hotels becasue everyone is afraid of the heat.
