United States - August 2006

I'm looking for a cheap (not seedy) hotel / motel along Miami Beach (preferrably) for two nights, last week of August. Any suggestions?

Our anniversary is coming during October end and I want to surprise my husband with a lovely travel. We are in Portland for 2 years and have visited lots of places. Still,I want to surprise my husband taking him to some place either in oregon/wahsington to celebrate our anniversary romantically. Pls advice for a good place during October.

When should we arrive at the park for a 7:00 game? Also, we are counting on finding parking downtown somewhere, as we did not purchase a parking pass. It's Monday night, so it shouldn't be a problem. Should we plan on being IN the park any earlier than 6:30?

My husband and I are in our late 20's. Been to STL numerous times. We've done the Arch, the zoo, union station, science center. We're headed to the Cards game Thursday and will be in town til Saturday. We're looking for other suggestions, activies, restuarants, bars, etc.

I'm going on vacation in October. About a month ago, Southwest had tickets from Nashville to Philly for $43 a person as the cheapest price. Well, I procastinated, and now the cheapest price has more than doubled. Is it possible that that deal will come back up again? Or did I just lose it...I'm very unfamiliar with booking airline tickets and when airlines offer deals like that. Will the price only go up as I get closer to October? Any suggestions? I'm buying for 2 people and don't want to spend $400 on plane tickets.

I have been toiling with the idea of moving to Nevada. I am working on a law degree that will be completed in the very near future and was looking to make a change.
