Our anniversary is coming during October end and I want to surprise my husband with a lovely travel. We are in Portland for 2 years and have visited lots of places. Still,I want to surprise my husband taking him to some place either in oregon/wahsington to celebrate our anniversary romantically. Pls advice for a good place during October.

How far south are you willing to travel? You could travel the Coast highway down to Gold Beach - there are these adorable rustic lodges with an ocean view and a wood burning fireplace. Bring a bottle of Champagne and sit on your balcony. : )
You could also get a river view room an Skamania Lodge. They have a huge wood burning fireplace in their lobby area and it's fun to sit there with a cup of hot cocoa (bailey's optional) and snuggle on one of the couches. If it's not raining, a brisk hike around their trails could certainly get your blood going.
You could also visit a B&B in wine country. The black walnut inn is supposed to be quite lovely.
