I'm going to be in Orlando for business for a 8 days. Is there anything fun or interesting to do there that doesn't cost too much. I'm up for just about anything.

I'm not interested in going to Disney World this time. I'm looking for museums, shopping, or interesting tours of the area. Maybe also some good clubs or bars to go to. Also anything to do around the Orlando World Center Mariott? Thats where we are staying....

try the odditorium, its at far end of orlando international drive, also there are lots of really crazy golfs - there was one there like pirates last time i went

there is also a skydiving setup, where u can go skydiving perfectly safely in a room, u know with a blasts of air keeping u up, thats cool ;oP LOL

arabian nights is a bit like a circus and they have a murder mystery theatre night as well, i like to hang around universal usually bcos the clubs, bars and things all around it are really fun where as disney sort of owns everyhting by them and it can get a bit repetitive

Check the Orlando Museum of Art. It's usually not too expensive. Also, depending on which end of Orlando you are on, there is Rock Springs at Kelley Park in Apopka or Blue Springs State Park. Both are natural springs For around $1, you can swim in clear spring water to your heart's content at Rock Springs. At Blue Springs, you can swim, but also have a chance to see live manatees out of captivity. They swim there from the
St. John's River that the spring feeds into. Disney is nearby, and the park is expensive, but they have a few attractions that aren't too bad. Call about Pleasure Island. It's an 18 and older venue that is open at night and it has resturauants and dance clubs and a comedy club. I do not know the price, as it has been years since I have been there...but one price gives you entry, and other than food, you don't have to pay a fee at each establishment...you come and go as you please. Good luck....I hope these are some appealing suggestions.

From your location if your looking for a close nightlife area I would recomend Downtown Disney, lots of restuarants and clubs. Yu can venture into clubs in Downtown Orlando but that is substantially farther away from where you are staying. If your not wanting to go to Disney you can also check out a water park .

Universal Studios, Disney, Busch Gardens, but Disney Quest is probably the best.
Its a virtual reality arcade, and all you have to do is pay around $50 or so and all the games are free.
They also have some of the older games like Joust, Robotron, Pac Man, and alot of other stuff.
We ALLWAYS go every year for vacation.

If you like crazy comedy, there is a funny comedy show at Wonderworks on International Drive. It's called the "Out of control magic show". My family has been 3 times, we think the two guys doing it a very funny. There was a new guy in the duo this summer when we went and the show was a little less funny with the new guy. I would still give it high marks for silly comedy.

I only went to Orlando for the theme parks and museums. The last place I went to was the "Upside down house" or Wonderworks on International Drive. You can't miss it. It looks like a government building turned upside down.

No, nothing interesting there. You should just stay at your motel. Maybe there is a swimming pool there.

(Just kidding) Really, the Orlando area has just about anything you could want. Check out this web site.
