I am going to Vegas, in late November, with my wife, for one week.
I would like to spend 2/3 days maybe driving around doing day trips outside Vegas.
I think the North & South Rims of the Grand Canyon may be just a little bit too far for day trips. Can someone suggest any other parts of the Canyon that is of interest for a day trip?

I'd like to meet my friend right after he clears Customs. Since there could be a lot of people arriving at the same time, I want to make sure that we can easily find each other. Normally I meet friends at Baggage Claim, but I believe he will retrieve his bags *before* he clears Customs. Thanks!

Im moving in September to the Denver area. I will be working near the I-70 and I-270 junction so I have been looking downtown and near Cheeseman Park. I want to move in an area that has some fun bars and alot of young people, but not really really expensive.
