We are planning a trip in late september to disneyland. I can't remember if we can get an autograph book there (for the characters to sign) or if we should bring one from home. If we do need to bring one from home, any ideas on where we could get one?

Yes, Disneyland sells the autograph books there. I recommend waiting until you get there to pick them up. You can stop by any of the shops at Downtown Disney (just outside the parks) and pick one up or get one inside the park. The World of Disney Store at Downtown Disney Marketplace offers the biggest selection of books (princesses for girls, main characters, villans, etc...) and even fun pens to use throughout the day.

You can get one at Disneyland. A suggestion though.... if you can find one locally that has a paper for a signature on one page and then picture holder on the next... and then you can have a pic and autograph next to each other...

The sell autograph books all over the place...inside the parks, the hotels and many of the independent shops nearby.

You can either bring one from home or buy one at one of the shops on Main Street in Disneyland.

Disney does sell the autograph books at the park.
We got one, and brought it each time we went to Disney. It got filled often since we visited yearly to see our Uncle. I think we still have them floating around ... I just wish I still had my Mouse Ears

The Disney store? - but I wouldn't worry with it, EVERY gift shop in the Disney area has them whether they are Disney affliated stores or not.
