I recently went on a tour of New York City. Our tour guide walked our group in the Greenwich Villiage area. She pointed out the place where the Friends cast would have coffee. Yes, it does exist in New York's Greenwich Villiage. I took pictures of it to prove it. It is located very close to where off broadway theaters are located. The closest theater is where they have male strip dancers. I took pictures of both places...hehehe!

I took a tv-show tour last year in New York. I was told the Central Perk Coffee shop doesn't actually exist.

Central Perk only exists in Friends. If you want to find Central Perk in NY city, you may open one up in NY city with the same name.

There isn't one, but if you liked Seinfeld, Mendy's is a Kosher deli that is on 34th and Park Avenue. Personally I love this place: Kavehaz on W 26th Street bewteen 5th and Broadway I believe. It has live jazz and awesome international coffee. You can get Blue Mountain coffee (the best!) there too, but it's expensive of course.
