I'm a poor college student and I need to take my girlfriend out of SF, since we haven't been on vacation in a while.

Hi I am a ex-sales rep from Delta Airlines. This is what i can say

First of all here are a few websites
www.travelocity.com
www.hotwire.com
www.expedia.com
www.cheaptickets.com
and of course Priceline

now to warn you if you find and unbelievably cheap fare on Hotwire and Priceline read the terms and condition they don't allow changes under any conditions except flight cancelltations or real emergencies.

now secondly its best to approach the airlines. I will tell you a couple of tricks. First of all many airlines have email programs which show really great fares(delta sure does) enroll for em. Create an id on yahoo or aol just for this sorta spam . Go through them. You get a couple every week

Now most of these fares have terms like. Saturday night stay required. travle permitted on Mondays ,Wednesdays and tuesdays.
Now call an airline rep and him to pull up fares . not current fares but all available fares. Ask him What is the" Fare Basis Code"
( and keep it in mind most of these codes are existing for a couple of months but some are introduced for a very short period) for the Lowest ones. Most are roundtrip a couple might be one way alos. Now ask him to read the rules of the fare.
The airlines employ many tactics to keep you from getting good fares.
For eg Fare basis T14se4n( Hypothetical)
permits travel only tuesdays and fridays
The return portion musty begin only after the first sunday from departure
or the usual sat night stay required

Most of these fares are 14 or 7 days advance. the fares are not loaded much in advance. The lowest fare avail possible changes evry month. So you wont get best fares if you call 6 months in advance. best time to call would be between 30-14 days before your flight.

Finally i would suggest call a couple of times. All agents are not customer savvy they just do their job and don put in that extra-effort and even if they want to they don't know how to try hard

i would suggest you try US air or United but you can also try Delta. If you want you can mail me at stray.bullets@gmail.com and tell me your travel dates i can research and get back to you

Hope you can have a good vacation

My husband and I go directly to the airlines on line. (there are several of the major domestic airlines -- all have sights) They give you their fares, and they are competitive with the other services (never use a travel agent - unless you know them well and they do you a favor). If you should need to make a change on your travel ticket, the airlines will change it for you and not give you a hard time and hassle like the other travel services. We've traveled back east from San Diego this way for quite a few years now. Never had any problems to date. If you go from SF (San Francisco?) to another city in Calif, you can get a good deal. Even to Vegas or Phoenix or somewhere in the Western part of the USA. Good luck and safe traveling!

Try some airline, you might pay some more bucks it is worth. If there is a problem, they will probably try to fix it or at least they will put you in a flight. Be careful with some online travel agencies, they are having plenty of complaints (e.g ruined trips, scam, ripoff) because they only try to charge your credit card. After that, you are on your own.

On Travelocity, choose the Flexible Dates option when you specify your trip's details. This will give you a list of fares available for the trip you want. You then can choose the fare you like on the airline you like, and it will give you a calendar of dates that this fare might be available. You choose the dates, and it will give you the flights. This way you can choose the fare you like, and not let the system price your trip.

seek under needed memory. Use their on line memory identifier then reproduction the outcomes into ebay/google and discover the main inexpensive one. I thinkmost notebooks use Sodimms(i could be incorrect) they want you to unscrew a compartment onthe base and set up the workstation. fairly trouble-free and the workstation could recognize inmmediately on reboot.

This website is your friend

http://www.utopia.worldventures.com

This is a meta-search travel website. That means it searches dozens of websites at once and brings their prices to you instead of you going to them.

I always include this website in my searches. It has found me the cheapest prices time after time.
