They have awesome coffee, drinks, fondu and so forth and live jazz of course. I dig it. Also the Vanguard is a famous jazz joint. It's much more of a venue than a restaurant... I don't even think they serve food, only drinks.

If you are there on thursday night I think this burlesque show is quite entertaining and it's only 5 dollars, but only if you are kinda kinky will you enjoy, otherwise you'll probably just be uncomfortable. It's The Starshine, it's a lot of fun!

Go to the Algonquin Hotel. It is a really cool old place and jazz is alive and well there....a bit pricey but worth it....check it out on the web and see for your self....

Have a great time!

Definitely do the Carnegie Deli...it's famous for it's cheesecakes. Just one piece of advice...don't eat any other meal before you go there because the portions are enormous!
