I'm trying to remember the name of either a military or police group - pretty sure it is for South American countries - in the movies there is always this heavily armed group that comes and throws people in jail - not mercenaries or guerillas, what are they called???

I was saying to myself, what if those in the pictures are Israelis pretending to be Palestinians just to show that the IDF are peaceful until I remembered something..
I remembered that my aunt who lives in Ramallah told me once that her 8 year old daughter plays with the Israeli soldiers sometimes and sometimes she pokes her tongue at them and they smile to her and play with her.
I guess not all IDF are bad and many of them are forced to do what they are doing.

i am a beginner and am planning to for a snowboarding trip...last time we went to Boreal..the slopes were good for a beginner but thr was nothin else to do besides that n we even didnt like the lodging too..so we plan to try new slopes which can be good for beginner's as well as we can get better lodging n also something to see around...i've heard that heavenly is also a nice place..can someone suggest me the best one according to our criteria??

I have to travel and i need to switch buses in NYC port authority but i have some time to go explore and see the city. Do they have a place in port authority where i can pay and they can take my luggage for a few hours? I mean not the little tiny lockers cause my suitcases are too big but some kind of storage ?

i heard all kinds of 'rumours' surrounding how they make sure ppl walk in with $$$ and leave broke as sin. No really i have, i heard they use every sly cunning trick in the book to ensure you stay in a casino long enough as to lose more than you can win.

From the a/c settings to the free watered down drinks - ive been told its a place designed to get rich off of gamblers. Never been to Las Vegas, probably be a great laugh im sure.
For those of you who have been there or go there regularly, whats your take on what i've heard ? load of old rubbish or some truth in what i've heard ?

I'm thinking of staying in a hotel in Shinjuku, but will be going out at night in Roppongi as well. Will I be in a good location? I'll also be sightseeing during the day. Want to see the Tsukiji fish market, Tokyo Tower, gardens, temples, etc. Any advice?

I am flying into Miami International Airport bright and early in the morning in order to go on a cruise. The cruise doesn't leave until late that afternoon so I am looking for a fun activity for my boyfriend and I to do to pass time during the day. Any suggestions? We won't have a car and also we also will have our luggage with us. (We plan on packing light) Any info on public transportation would help.

I am heading on the Carnival Destiny with my husband January 5th. Although we aren't worried about spending money on alcohol on the ship, we would like to bring some wine onboard.
