No, a Jew has a right to Aliyah to Israel and an Israeli has a right to be Jewish. I don't see any difference in whether you are a Jew or Israeli. Israel is still our homeland, whether you are religious or not.

A Jew is someone who is Jewish which is generally a religion. Although I do think the line is a bit blurred between religion and ethnicity.
An Israeli would be someone from Israel, regardless of religious affiliation. While they are probably a small minority, I'm sure there are some Christian or Muslim Israelis.

Some will say yes, some no.
The Israel in the Bible refers to all Jewish People as a people, not any place or country, so from that perspective there is no difference. However, Israeli is now a nationality, not all Israelis are Jewish, not all Jews are Israeli.

Not all Jews are Israelis, and not all Israelis are Jewish, so of course there is a difference!
A Jew is someone who was born to a Jewish mother or converted to Judaism. An Israeli is someone who lives in Israel, regardless of her/his religion, ethnicity, or race.

A Jew is Jewish. Judaism is a religion, like Catholic, Protestant, Muslim.
An Israeli lives in Israel. Most Israelis are Jewish but there are Israeli arabs who are muslims.
so Jewish= religion and Israeli=country.
