Hubby and I will be in Vegas next week. This will be the first vacation without the kids we've had in a while. What are some suggestions for romantic things to do/see?

You will never be bored in Las Vegas. Not only is it affordable, and very luxurious but full of activities. You don't have to gamble or have a lot of money to have a great time.
Here is a list of free attractions

Make sure you see the Bellagio fountains and Fremont street at night.
If you can afford it, have dinner at the Eiffel Tower restaurant @ Paris hotel.

hope this helps.

Great place for romance. Take a ride in the gondolas at the Venetian. Let the gondolier sing a romantic Italian love song to the two of you. Get a room with a jacuzzi for two for your stay. Visit the fountains at the Bellagio and stand holding each other as the water dances to the music.

Walk through the Paris and imagine you are there. Visit the garden at the Bellagio. Decorated for Xmas so beautifully. Just walk the strip and hold hands and enjoy each others company.

Make a reservation for dinner at about sunset in the Top of The World restaurant in the Stratosphere Hotel.

This restaurant is at the top of a12 story tower and it rotates as you eat so you get a spectacular view of the city, especially at night. The restaurant has a sports casual dress code so you will not be eating with folks in shorts and sneakers. The menu is good, I have eaten there twice. You will need to make reservations. Do that as soon as you get to Vegas; they will ask what hotel you are staying in.

I assume you have made reservations already or I would suggest that you stay in a premium hotel like Bellagio, or the Venetian, or Caesars. The Venetian is all suites and you can get rooms with sunken bath tubs. The rooms in the towers at Caesars have a jacuzzi in the bathroom. AT Bellagio you can ask for a room with a view of the fountains. You must go see the fountains and stay for 3 or 4 shows as they are different (about 20 different all together). ALSO, go inside the Bellagio hotel to its lobby and view the beautiful glass sculptured ceiling AND the seasonal floral arrangements in the Atrium. This time of year they will have gorgeous Christmas floral decorations. Take Santa caps with you for pictures in Bellagio.

Make a reservation to see the show "Jubilee" at the Ballys Hotel. Its a great show (have seen it 4 times) and the topless ladies will get your husband's juices flowing.
