need to know whether to bring the Thai baht into India and change there or should i change in thailand into dollars/euro and then change the dollars/euros in india into rupees? so if anyone knows for sure whether i can change thai baht into indian rupees in kolkata international airport, please answer here, thank you.

hi everyone..just want to know something about getting tourist visa in the usa. i am planning to visit my relative in usa by next year.im working in a 5 star hotel in manila philippines..is it true that one factor to approve a visa by the consul is you had already go out the country or your passport has already been stamped by other country, where you already visited? is it possible even you dont visited a country, since you have a good paying job, are they can grant you a visa?im single, dont have a house or any business.just want to visit and see my relatives there.my mom also is applying a tourist visa and she also worked in a 5 star hotel in manila. thank you for any suggestion and information. thanks

i will be landing in chennai irport at 11 PM and i see all the rail and bus services are until 11 30 PM , pls advice any bus service priovders etc who operate past midnight so that i could reach bangalore next morning , worst case i would have to fly the next day morning , any buses i can take that go via chennai past midnight ?

I wanna buy some beauty creams from the Duty Free (traveling from Houston to Europe).
I know they have a 311 rule or so now,

Just been to do some early shopping at Asda. Did you know that you cannot purchase alcohol before 8am. Didn't see any signs up about it. You can pick it up and carry it to checkout, but they won't let you pay for it.

I'm moving to Olympia this summer to attend nursing school at South Puget Sound Community College. I'm interested in renting a studio/one-bedroom in one of the older apartment buildings downtown close to the capitol building and within walking distance to that "main street" with all of the shops, bars, and restaurants. Does anyone have any places they could recommend? I don't mind one of those fading, red-brick numbers with character; in fact, I've lived in places like those most of my adult life as I've been a perpetual student most of my adult life. I don't want to rent in a building with baseheads, tweakers, or gangbangers. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you.

Why is it that the majority of people behave like imbeciles in airports even before they get there? Insisting on being there hours before the flight, then panicky and almost rude while checking in, lunging forward when their flight is called as if the plane is going to take off without them and then once you land jumping out of their seat as soon as the captain turns off the seatbelt signs! Then to cap all off they put their trolleys right up against the luggage belt with invariably 2 or 3 kids either side taking up huge amouts of space when it is only ever going to be Father who lifts the suitcase off anyway.
Do you think people are nervous about the whole experience of flying and simply over compensate? Is there an actual condition probably called airport brain?

i am trying to determine whether or not the sand bar in Kaneohe Bay will be exposed during the couple of days we are there. I have looked up tidal information at the NOAA web site and it looks like the tide will be neither high nor low during day time hours the couple of days we are there. does anyone know precisely how far above or below the mean lower-low water mark the tide needs to be at for the sand bar to be exposed? i'll be impressed and grateful if somone can answer this one!
