I liked Annecy, Aix en Provence, Arles, Bordeaux, Montpellier, Strasbourg, Carcassonne, and St. Remy de Provence. I'd like to visit:
Collioure, Quimper, and more of Paris.
I've been to Paris about 7 times, but haven't even scratched the surface.

In my opinion Bayeux, France is a wonderful place. It's situated near the Normandy beaches but is a quaint little town that interestingly enough wasn't destroyed during WWII. I can't say that it's the absolutely best place to visit but it was for me.

Happy Travels!!

We stayed near a town called Figiac...its kind of near Cahors...but the area in and around here is stunning which is central France
.....The Lot River and.....hmm another river valley kind of surround the area....there are lots of quaint little fairy tale like towns ( you will need a car to tour them)....like St Cirq lapopie, St Cere and Autoire ( quite small but very much worth a look for the latter)....Rocamadour is a stunning rock face town/church which is quite spectacular when you look at it.

There are several ancient caves with cave paintings etc and lots of rolling hillside, medieval villages, castles and whatnot.
I highly recommend the entire area......lovely.

Maybe go to France one year and Italy another! They are both beautiful countries <3

Sounds like you've done Provence.

Normandy and Brittany are very nice. Area north of Paris--both NW toward Belgium and NE toward Metz-- is also very scenic and historic.

Also, Chartres
