I am going on my first cruise next week. We are leaving from San Diego and going to Cabo abord the Carnival Elation ship. It is my first cruise . . Can't wait to go. I didn't get the room with the window though . . do you think that was a bad move? Overall do you think it is important . . or is it like Vegas where you aren't in your room for much anyways except for sleep & knockin boots.

Or were a lot of Armenians just the casualties of war?
I see many people deny the Armenian genocide, and I am confused as to why if it did happen. What happened?

Will be going on a Caribbean Cruise in the spring and want to start planning my day trips for the 4 islands we will be visiting.

First stop is Aruba, then Curacao. What are some good beaches to visit on these islands? Preferably one that little kids can swim at and have some type of restaurant or beach bar.

Next stop is St Maarten. I'm thinking of taking the ferry to Anguilla for the day but I'm not sure yet. I've heard the beaches on Anguilla are fantastic, how are they on St. Maarten? Has anyone been to both islands and can tell which they preferred and why?

Already planning on going to St John when we stop in St Thomas.

Are they any other tours or great experiences on these islands anyone can tell me about? Keep in mind we'll have three kids with our group - ages from 4 to 6.

Does anyone know of a really great place to stay in Colorado without spending over $150 per night? Preferably close to public transportation that will take you to the ski resorts. We are thinking Breckenridge but are open to suggestions.

Can anyone tell me if the london underground is running on christmas day 2007?? I cant seem to find this information on london underground website....

Here are the requirements:

Lower crime area
Walkable town - (Lots of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance)
Young professional, students, couples....etc..
Relatively inexpensive rent/leases (around $800 per month or less)
Pet friendly areas (perhaps with dog parks)
Close to Parks and great downtown city views (Maybe even close to the lake??)

Hopefully I'm not limiting myself here by narrowing down the places I want to live. It's just that I'm looking for as many of these things as possible.

Thank you very much for your time.

I am a silent observer here and I know who the knowledgable people are, and who the bull shitters are. If you really don't know about the place, keep your trap shut and stop polluting the category with your nonsense.

And, yeah, by the way, to you know-nothings, Ive been there a few times so I know you're wasting everyone's time with your lame answers.

I am a Houstonian who visited NYC in 1999 and loved it. On the Houston forum on here, Houstonians say it is crappy. I personally feel that NYC has WAY more culture and history than Houston. Given that I only stayed a few days, are my fellow Houstonians correct.................I am inclined to say no.

When you become used to speaking a language, you hardly think about it any longer, but sometimes you hear a new language and immediately you form an impression of it. Maybe it sounds rough to you, or laid-back, or gentle. It's interesting to know what people think of a spoken language. What are your impressions of spoken Korean?
