If all your child is doing is text, photos and Internet, then the OneLaptopPerChild should work fine.

I think that a kid younger than 14-15 doesn't need a laptop. But,if we are talking for a teenager, a One laptop per Child would be perfect. I think that in the future for every family will have a PC, one or two high quality laptops (probably Core Duo) and a One laptop Per Child for every kid or every other member (mother f.ex.).

older than 13 each get them there own
younger than 12 each they dont even NEED ONE! but u could have them share
and then send one to me, jk
