Hi

I am from the UK and am going to Las Vegas in a couple of days.

I aware that in the USA ID is required for buying alcohol. The problem is I have lost my Driving Licence and dont want to carry my passport around on a night out, can anyone advise me of other forms of ID they will accept?

Is Vegas quite strict about ID and would I be asked in every bar/hotel? I am 27 and look my age, will I actually need any need ID??

I would really appriciate any guidance.
Many Thanks :-)

Speaking of split personality...

I know someone who has 50 over accounts on YAM. He'd post questions and answer his own questions. Fighting with himself using his clones. Pick on new users, manipulative and obviously, he's suffering from personality disorder. He would like to think that he owns YAM. eg. if any of us want to have a "meet up" that he should be informed and invited. Else, he'll get so upset and ***** about it. What do you think?

Yesterday someone posted an interesting question about what 'really' happened to the Arab population of Palestine when Israel was established.

May I draw your attention to the response given by CIA? He said 'you won't get an honest answer from the pro Israel crowd here, they just use propoganda'.

My question is: When we attempt to answer posts about Israel etc, many people like CIA accuse us of 'bias'. Yet when Muslims answer, equally passionately, they are not 'biased' they are 'factual' or 'honest'.

So how can we ever have a fair debate? And according to the 'logic' employed by CIA, a woman could never discuss abortion, as she'd be 'biased'. A black person could never discuss discrimination or racial issues, they too would be 'biased'.

So how can we all ever have a fair and candid debate when people like CIA instantly reject anything we say?

Note please, that CIA blocked me, but I have not blocked him. I am not threatened by differing opinions.

would appreciate any feedback about traffic, best time, best day of week to go to have the smoothest, easiest drive. Are there any areas of mountain ranges to drive through or anything else? How long should it take to get from L.A. to the Oregon border?

The DC-3 was the first airliner that could pay for itself hauling passengers. It first flew on December 17, 1935, the 32nd anniversary of the Wright Brothers' first flight.

About 500 of them were sold as airliners when World War II came along and the DC-3 emerged in uniform in several versions, the best known of which was the C-47.

By today's standards the DC-3 is slow, but its speed 70 years ago revolutionized air travel.

DC-3s were common on airlines through the 1960's, but the advent of smaller jets such as the DC-9 and Boeing 737 caused many airlines to retire their "Gooney Birds." The Air Force phased their C-47s and C-117s out in the early 1970's.

However about 400 remain in commercial service today and many airplane buffs love them. I had my first and second airplane rides in DC-3s in 1947 and 1955. My first attempt at the controls of an airplane was in a C-47 in 1959.

Do you love this old airliner and transport? War stories welcomed.

Need your advice. I am Java programmer and have been working in the IT industry for almost 3 years. I've learned that one of the requirements to get to Australia is to have one's skills accessed, in my case acs.org is the accessing body I should go to. But in their website I found out that they require at least 4 years of related experience...

Do I really have to way another year to I have my IT skills accessed? or can I have my skills accessed today and would still have the chance of passing their assestment even if I'm ayear short ?

Or, is there another way/process I could go to, to be able to migrate to austalia w/o having to wait another year?

TIA
