I have a friend who wants to visit Israel with her husband. Thing is, they are terrified to fly! Is there a boat that goes from the USA to Israel one way? And then another boat from Israel to USA? (like the old days before airplanes) They look to stay about a month.

I was thinking about going to vegas this summer to meet my bf,
1. I was wondering if a week to stay there seemed like a good amount of time or not.
2. Is there anyway I can get a grey houd ticket and get on the bus in WItchita Kansas... or some where close like that, I can't drive, so I don't want to ask my parents to drive me to KC. and does the bus stop in las vegas anywhere near colman park on Daybreak Road?
3. How much might this all cost me?

Have you ever noticed on how most Philippine college students still pick a course for reasons like going abroad and getting money? Also, I noticed that these students didn't even pick the course. They were 'encouraged' by their parents to choose it.

And what happens when a person picks a course along the lines of Fine Arts, Literature, Creative Writing, and Education? I always noticed that they are not exactly held with high esteem, especially if the parents aren't exactly well off.

What do you think is causing this? Would you consider it bad?
