I live in the Los Angeles county, Pomona to be more exact and I was wondering if anyone has any advise on where to go trick or treating for the best candy? I've always heard of people traveling to places, like Beverly Hills, but is the candy really that much better?

(I guess I asked two questions instead of one, but an answer to either one would be greatly appreciated!)

I'm from the Bay Area and I know that "Frisco" is supposedly an insult when referring to SF, but WHY?? No one has ever explained it but just says "don't call it Frisco". What is the reason people don't like the term "Frisco"? What is the big deal? San Francisco is a long name and Frisco just makes it easier to say. So could someone please explain to me how this became an insult?

Also what do people have against the term Cali? I don't really use it but I've seen some people on Y! Answers say it's insulting and people here don't use it, even though I've seen some native Californian's use it too.

Several weeks ago, Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was applauded during his speech at Columbia University because 'all views should be heard'. All views except any resembling conservative views, that is. David Horowitz attempted to give a speech this weekend during Islamo-fascism week at Emory University, but was unable to after students relentlessly chanted 'racist, sexist, David Horowitz go away!'.

I guess it is OK for someone who authorizes the killing of a retarded teenage girl for "seducing" a Muslim male, but not OK for someone who wants to point out the horrors of that and many such atrocities.

Is the Liberal agenda totally taking over our institutions of higher learning? I think, yes..and have been for quite awhile.

Let me know how you liked it? I am specifically interested in knowing personal experiences about how good is their WiFi highspeed internet access, and full kitchens in the rooms.

I'm going on a long trip and I need suggestions. Internet access is a must and I would like to have a full kitchen so I can cook.

I'll be there for 4 days and I've been told that it normally doesn't start snowing in that area until later, but I was just wondering if anyone who lives around there can let me know how likely snow that early is. I'm from Florida and I love snow, so I was hoping I'd get to see some while I was up there.
