My fiance and I would like to go somewhere between Christmas and New Year's, but we'd like to stay fairly close to where we live (Provo, UT). What are some good places to go for a quick getaway?

Moab (Arches) is gorgeous that time of year - though it does get a bit cold in some of the areas.
Las Vegas has a lot to see and do - not sure how sold out the shows are for that time - could be a hard ticket.
Yellowstone isn't too far away, if you like the outdoorsy kind of stuff.
St George is a nice getaway place.
Salt Lake City is really close and has much to see and do for the holidays.
I've stayed at the Johnson Mill Bed and Breakfast in the Heber area - that's nice, though not much to do.

There are several place. Park City and St. George are great for vacations. Las Vegas and Mesquite are a lot of fun, too.
