Before I got married I would have said NO WAY! I am not stereotyping since I know there must be some good females out there, but let's just say I haven't had the luck to run into them! All the best doctors I have found are males, even my OBGYN. I'm sorry to say this, but I honestly haven't found a female whom I can trust to operate on me. It can be embarrassing to deal with male doctors at times, but what matters is knowing that you can trust that person with your life.

It depends on the doctor. If it is a dental, eye, ears, nose, etc. I don't have a preference except competent. For GYN, I don't like male doctors; I feel more comfortable with a female, but I make sure the female is qualified.

For some reason, most of my doctors are female at the moment. I didn't plan it that way, but they are female.

I personally, would prefer non gender stereotypes, it is more important to me, that the doctor knows their job rather than male or female. I have had some female doctors and they have been terrible, because they have made the assumption because we are the same gender they know how I feel. Just give me a good doctor I don't care what gender they are.

Yeah very comfortable, for me, it has nothing to do with the doctor being a female or male, just someone who I can trust. My `Gyne is male and my c-section was done perfectly fine el hamdolelah

i'm reluctant between yes and no !!

but generally speaking, i would say Yes, there's no problem............because this "doctor" has undergone several phases, in which i believe that even if his intentions were not nice or sincere at the begining ;-) (i mean since he was an undergraduate in his college ), i believe he would change 180 % after this, and after anatomy and dealing with patients and dead bodies !!!!!!!!!
hehehehe.......... i believe he won't even think of marriage looooooolz.... :D :D

Of course, whats the difference? Believe me, when they've seen one persons bits they've seen them all.

If your sick, your sick, it shouldn't matter who you see when you go to the doctors.
