I want to attend a friend's wedding in Cancun next month. I'm a filipino citizenship residing in Los Angeles. I lost my philippine passport and only have my greencard at the moment. With the current law, a passport is now required to fly from US to Mexico/Canada. Can I walk across the border in Tijuana and fly out of Tijuana airport to Cancun without any problem? I heard that's still ok but only until the end of this year. After that, there'll be a new law requiring a valid passport to cross the Tijuana border by foot....

I'm wondering if the weather around LA is hot and humid in the summer months or is it more of a dry heat? I always thought LA weather was in the 70's, lol...I guess I was wrong. I just looked at weather.com, and I was surprised to see that LA and some of the cities in the San Gabriel valley actually have average temperatures in the 90's in the summer. I'm just wondering if it's a dry heat or a humid, soggy heat. I'm from the southeast, and the summers here are unbearably hot and humid...ughh. I'm probably moving to one of the cities in the San Gabriel Valley in August and am hoping that the weather is less humid and more dry. Any ideas?

I want to stay at a hotel near the red line of the Cleveland RTA so I can shop and eat in a nice place. The next day I would take the train downtown to see an Indians game. Is Brook Park a nice place, looks like the station is out in a not so safe place.

In a few weeks, I will hopefully be traveling to San Antonio, TX. I'm considering some attractions to visit (e.g.: Alamo, riverwalk, etc.) and wasn't sure if the six flags in san antonio is worth going to. We will probably be in s.a. for about 2-3 days. Going to Cancun soon with family (including 2 teenagers) and thinking about all inclusive properties. Leaning toward RIU Caribe or Royal Solaris closer to Cancun. Also Allegro or Occidental Xcaret closer to Playa Carmen. Not looking to go "top of the line", but don't want to scrape the bottom either. Any opinions....I know Riviera Maya/Playa del Carmen are further, is it worth the hour drive from the airport, etc? Thanks!
