I think that the best place to travel with your family is to the Patagonia in Argentina. The Patagonia has all you need to spend a perfect holiday. National parks come to mind. Always interesting and there is usually one that is not to far away. give it a shot. Good luck. Some of those family outings can get pretty irritating.
