Which is better.. I'm travelling to Delhi for the first time. I don't want necessarily just western clothes, but i want nice materials, nice saris, salwars, indian art pieces on fabric... that sorta thing. which would provide it better? Connaught Place or Janpath? Any tips on Janpath (ie: beware of pickpoketers?)

I'm leaning towards a prepaid mastercard but every site that i've been on for them says that even if my parents buy the card for me i'm nto allowed to use it because i'm only 14 (the age for most of the cards is 16+) any reccomendations for a different way not to carry to much cash or some different types of prepaid( from canada, i live in newfoundland)

I've been considering moving to Europe after I complete my degree in Computer Information Systems. I would love to live in England,Germany, Netherlands, etc.

I'm after a colder climate with people with culture that's not so money driven as the United States.

by "cheap" i mean less then 1500 rupees, preferably a lot less.
by "near" i mean not more then 1-2 minutes walk.

I have been collecting pig ornaments for many years and have them in all shapes and uses:
Chopping boards
Salt and Pepper
Pictures
Glass, wood, china etc.

I intend to retire in Egypt and want to know if my "pig icons" would cause offense. I know that eating the flesh of pigs is against the muslim religion, but would my collection offend.

I have posted this question as I do not know the answer, not to offend anyone nor to invite criticism. When I do move I intend to respect the country fully.

I thank all those who are able to give me an educated answer in advance.

My fiance and I are going to disney world for 14 days in May 2008.

Rates are not out yet but I've put a down payment on the room (to hold it) and I will be making the entire reservation in the end of August. Right now the total cost of the room is about 1,600 dollars (rounded up from 1,557) and the flight is about 600 (rounded up from 500)..

All together I'm rounding the trip up to cost about 2,500 dollars/3,000 dollars when everything is all said and done.

All said and done OTHER THAN spending money. We are staying in a resort hotel and will not be getting a rental car. So a trip to the grocery store once we're down there might be difficult. How much money should we look to spend (each) on food in one day (for 2 adults)

Hi! Im travelling Europe and some countries in Africa. Im going to Istanbul tomorrow and we will try to book a train to Sofia, Bulgaria. If we can, we wanna book trains from sofia to budapest, budapest to vienna, vienna to prague, prague to krakow, krakow to frankfurt too. Can we do that? or we have to go to departure station and get it??

We will be a mid to late 20's family with one kid and one dog relocating from ft. benning, ga to jacksonville after I get out of the Army.Were both originally from Panama city, FL, . Wife is an accountant, I will be seeking employment with local law enforcement. I have read how it was supposed to be extended to the airport on one end and to downtown on the other several years ago. Are those expansion plans dead, or just delayed? I know they were originally delayed because there were not enough passengers to justify. Has that changed? I really like the Monorail. Great for getting from one area of the strip to another. Expanding to downtown would increase ridership a lot, I would think. It's slow to get down there now on the Deuce (although a good bargain). Would really like to be able to get to the airport on it too.
