depends

some are 4-90,000yen(=$360-$870)
but downtown is different.
sooooo expensive. you better check yourself.
what is the most important thing to you?
space? rent? quality of room? access?

and one more thing.
i already answered to another question. so i just paste same sentence for you.

japanese apartment owners dont like foreigner. because japanese culture is totally different from another country.
there are lots of japanese are living too. they dont wanna live with foreigners too. because some foreigners dont respect japanese culture. some are mess their room sooo much and noisy and...... you know? some dont pay rent and run away. japan dont need s.s.n. when you rent apartment. so nobody can catch them.
this is why nomally foreigner cant rent an apartment themself. use JAPANESE friend's name or need guarantee.

i helped to rent an apartment for my friend before but apartment owner and agency were so cold. i was so angry. but later i understand what they were going through.

anyway, you need guarantee. some company help their employee to rent apartment.

One place worth looking at it Kita-ku, the northern area of the city behind the mountain range. The railway line (Kobe Dentestu) is very expensive, but if you're working for a company they should pay your season ticket.

Prices in that area are very reasonable, it's a bit away from the main city, and there is quite a number of other foreigners living there. Around the Suzurandai area is perhaps where I would start looking.

almost 30,000~80,000yen for a 3K/DK/LK/LDK apartment.
but I am not sure if it's for gaijin. you should be able to talk to the owner in Japanese.
Alternatively, the followings are available in English. But It's not usually 3 room's. You need to check.
