My brother and I are headed to Europe next summer. What are some creative ways to save money for our trip?

Aside from a part-time job, I'd go with looking at your spending. Like, do you really need that new shirt? Do you really need that new Harry Potter book, or can you borrow it from a friend later? Do you really need that soda and fast food, or can you get by with a bottle of water that you can refill at a drinking fountain and bring your own food? Do you have subscriptions to magazines that you really don't read? Make your own food instead of dining out or buying too much from a store. And if you and your brother have enough stuff sitting around, hold a yard sale.

And every time you convince yourself to not buy something, put that money in savings. You'd be amazed at how fast it adds up!

Have a bake sale. We did one to raise money for school and we made quite a bit of money. Sometimes people will give you something to sell instead of money. Then you can sell the goodies at your own price. Offer to do errands for shut ins or the elderly they can really use the help. House sitting for people is a good idea too.
