No, I don't think it has the same value as before... And that's too sad...
In my opinion, to have wisdom takes an incredible inner beauty. It also takes years of knowledge & experience in life.

Wisdom is rare, so it has a great value. The more people get silly today the more wisdom is valued.
There is no real measure and one may become wise through experience, knowledge and the way he understands things around. If one imagines personal views always it can be never wise.
When we can imagine all sides and corners of a topic it's part of wisdom.

Of course it is, it's just that most people don't teach the importance of it to their children anymore, but it will always be of value. Wisdom is nothing more than common sense, good judgment and knowing what's right, so it would be something that is learned. As far as how it's measured, that would depend on the individual and I think it would be a judgment call.

For me.......wisdom doesnt exists.
None is wise enough.in spite of they want or pretend to be.
We are all our life trying to know each day a bit more, but we never reach wisdom .
We spend all our life learning, or at least, trying to learn.
Most of us, never get the lever of knowledge to be called wise..Wisdom is not experience, and for me it doesnt come with age either.
I really admire the pple that try to get as much knowledge as they can, but from there till to be wise...........there is a long way.

wisdom is a combination of 2 things.
Experience and a predisposition to understand and interpret this experience.
It can only be measured when put to practice successfully.

By three methods we may learn wisdom: first, by reflection, which is noblest; second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third, by experience, which is the most bitter.”
