Which has more interesting historical stuff?
France is famous for Paris.
But Germany has many interesting cities like Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Nurnberg, Dresden.
Where do you think I should go? Which country has more beautiful architecture?
It's my first visit to Europe and I want to experience a taste of old europe.

Why was there a Western beirut and an Eastern beirut.
It's still present nowadays. Christians live in the East, and Muslims in the West. Is it like the Berlin wall?

I am going on a plane trip next month and the carry-on says that it can not be more the 45inches total in demension, but no where can I find how big your second carry-on (purse, briefcase...........) can be. How big is the room under the seat?

San Francisco may beat Seattle and vice versa on different issues. both cities share at least a few things in common; they are close to the water and sit on a hill though the hills in Frisco are a lot steeper than those ones in Seattle.

thanks to those who responded....i want to drive down from east georgia to somewhere on west side of florida...looking for blue water/white sand.....would like a hotel/resort that is on the beach with beachfront pool and bar, i am taking my wife and leaving the kid at home, so we want a place that is more adult or young adult (not a bunch of young children) where we can just kick back at the pool or on the beach and drink cocktails and gaze at the blue water (and hopefully some nice tans walking by on the beach!), maybe some nice bars/restaurants by the beach too. we have heard about clearwater, siesta key, naples etc. but don['t know where to go. any advice appreciated!

Spending three days in Istanbul and looking for suggestions for the most important things to do. Not a huge museum fan. More into landmarks, places to walk around. Would like to go to a beach one day. Which beaches are nice and easy to reach from the city?
I'm a vegetarian so any tips on veggie options?
Also, is it best for women to dress modestly or will I be comfortable in Western summer gear?

I live in the San Fernando Valley right now. I'd like to find some trails that I can go off-roading on with my Jeep. Even though they don't pay out in "real" coins, do you or can you still imput coins into the slots as opposed to 1's, 5's, etc.? Haven't been in a couple years so not sure. Thanks.
