Las Vegas Coupons?

We are new to Vegas and gambling. We have only been there once to get married (didn't do much gambling that time - only slots and video poker) and didn't know things like signing up for "player's cards", etc. We are going back in March and I recently purchased a coupon book. My question is what does "$5 matchplay" mean? (I am assuming they match your bet or something?) Also what is "2x points", or "free ace"? Anywhere where I can learn what all these terms mean? How do you go about using these perks? Thanks!

What does the word 'Istanbul' means? :)?

I know first it sounds silly, but I read somewhere that the name 'Istanbul' originally means "We're going to the town/city".
Can this be true?
I don't know the origin of this word (it may not be Turkish, who knows).

help this novice traveler with highways??

highway names & #'s confuse the bejeez out of me. like US 41 is called lake shore drive. can u help me name the major highways with there # and maybe the direction they go. Like what is the 290 or the 55. I suck at reading maps. I'm home based in the chicago area if that helps

What this this sandwhicch made of, bought by the Bells of Notra Dame?

I was recently in France by them Bells and we were just to theleft of the entrance of the church. I bought this sandwhich outside a cafe. I want to rent a condo near Orlando on the beach. What beaches are clean and quiet?

I usually go to the Carolinas and I'm spoiled by their clean beaches and unspoiled views. I went to Cocoa this year and the beach was filthy and you couldn't see the ocean for the high rises.
