I will be visiting Venice, Turin, Milan, Rome, and Naples. I want to take tours of the cities, but I also would like some tips on non-tourist attractions to visit; local restaurants, small shops, parks, etc. And is there anything that is a must-do while I am in any of these towns that a travel source wouldn't list?

Im going on a vacation to New York!?
I'm going to New York this summer or next summer and I have a few questions! What activites is there to do, for a 15 year old girl? We are on a tight budget... if i keep my babysitting job, by next summer I would have a little 700 dollars to spend on myself. Plus i have to pay for my plane ticket. I don't want to pay 100 dollars a night for a hotel but i want a hotel with a swimming pool... but my questions are; What are some things for a 15 year old to do?, What is the least expensive hotels w/ pools and great service?
What is at least 1 must see thing while were there?

Someone is looking at my Myspace centered on this spot, a month ago and now on my new page, and I'm very concerned that it's in Washington DC and wonder if I'm on some government watch list. I am not a criminal or anything subversive...

It looks like there's parking on top, but it's abandoned because there's no cars. Also, the myspace mapping isn't precise so it could be somewhere nearby. Or simply answer, why DC? I've never been East of Nevada so I don't know a soul out there.

I'm coming to Amsterdam in September for a semester and I need a way of getting around, I'm (most likely) going to be living in Dieman. Is it worth me investing in a bicycle? Also I heard that trains and trams were free in Amsterdam if you are a student? Is this true, and if it is do you have to be a citizen of the Netherlands?

Hi, my friend and I are planning a trip to Scotland in August of 2007 and we are starting to look into airfare. We will be flying out of Chicago O'hare International airport. Prices into Glasgow or (preferably) Edinburgh are way higher than into London Heathrow. My question is: if we can get a sweet deal into London, are there some budget airlines with great prices between London and Edinburgh?
