Weather in Dubai?

Thanks to those who got back about vaccinations for Dubai. I think I'll have to see my GP just incase because some people have told me it's better to get it, others have said it's not necessary. Was hoping everyone would go with the latter as I'm not a fan of needles...Ashwin, you said it's COLD out there right now? (Noo!) How cold would you say it is (centigrade-wise)? I'm going in early feb and will be staying in Bur Dubai. I thought it was warm-ish around then, not cold...any rain?

Going to portland usa in july for 2 Weeks?

going for a holiday for 2 weeks with my partner and her family for 2 weeks and they want to stay some where fancy but i prefer to stay somewhere not so fancy if you get my drift does anyone know if you can hire apartments for that amount of time or any good web sites of hotels and hostels in that area i have looked but am not seeming to have much luck also any tips on what to do and see around there would be greatly apppreciated

i have had many dissapointing answers :(?

i recently asked if it is worth it to learn japanese by using romanji....and quite a few people have gave me some negative comments.

Remember when you were little we learned to speak by listening to what our parents and siblings said.
this is what iam doing with romanji i listen and practice till i get it right and then iam fluent with the phrases a have practiced.
why has so many people put me down by not learning the symbols with speaking?
i didnt learn to read till i was five but i spoke fluently well before that.

iam eager to communicate and talk with a diffrent language because i love diffrent cultures.

it is a shame why people put me down.

what is wrong with what iam doing?
