Travel - 10 January 2007

Hi there,
First, thanks for taking the time to read this. We (my boyfriend and I) are wanting to move out to Canada at sometime in the next few years (sooner the better) and I was just wanting some general info and advice if anyone has any! I'll give you our general circumstances...
We're both British Citizens (Scottish actually). My BF is a bricklayer - qualified with a diploma, apprenticeship. He's been a bricky for 8 years. I have a degree in Drama and Theatre Arts, specialising in Creative and Critical Writing, and I have experience in Graphic Design. What are our chances of gaining employment either before or after we go? We're in our early/mid twenties and I have family in Canada (Uncle, Aunt, Cousins and a late Grandfather). Where would you reccomend moving to considering our qualifications? Also, we'll be bringing our dog with us, what are the chances of us finding rented accommodation that will allow him also?

i was travelling on my bike dropped my mobile (slipped off) one of the fellow bikers saw the traffic cop infront of sony world kormangala taking it.....
i was back in 5 min and the drunkan bas,,,,,,s didnt return it told me we dont know get the bugger who is seen we picking up.....i would have taken his balls if it was in my hime town......this is a paraya city...so beware friends an similar incidents report.....
shame on police..i am going to write a complaint to the SP

For your information, if I've asked this question, it is not because I am too lazy to look on the net or to call. Actually I HAVE DONE IT !!! I'm planning on moving to Seattle this fall, living in the area for a year to gain residency, and then going to a college the next fall (getting the in-state tuition rate). What are the best schools in Seattle as far as selectivity? My fields of interest lay in english and writing, photography, fashion design, digital design (Photoshop), and french. What are the best schools according to my interests?

I've been reasearching University of Washington, and I'm thinking about applying. My GPA is 3.2 and I have an ACT composite score of 28 (30 on English portion). Do you think I'll get in? Consider I'll be taking a year off to work full-time. Also, does the school require you to live in dorms the first year?

Also, is there a difference between "University of Washington" and "Washington State University?" Which is the better school, Seattle University or UW? Does UW have a good art program? What is the best art school in Seattle?

Also, will I be able to manage living in Seattle car-less?

A group of us are spending a year travelling the world and are going to spend 5 months in sydney. we would like to know where is a good place to look for a beach house to rent whilst we stay there.
