David Letterman, said the mayor of New York gave a press conference where he mentioned the smell of gas and told people to leave windows open and use fans. I also heard about the smell of pancakes in New York. not long ago. What's up with this. Did New York really smell like pancakes. And what about the gas. What caused this?

In Thailand many people are so modest they actually bathe in the Sea fully clothed. Which is a bit much I know.
But, at the other end of the scale one sees European women prancing about topless and in thongs that show their often big fat arses!
Do you think thats right?

I have a rather urgent matter which I hope someone here can help.

I have two friends from Shanghai and Xiamen who are coming to Singapore for a short visit. Towards the end of the stay in Singapore, we need to visit Malaysia for around 3-4 days. Here's my questions:

1) Can they travel to Malaysia from Singapore?

2) If it's possible, do they need to get a visa in advance (from Singapore to Malaysia)?

3) Can they fly back to China directly thereafter without going back to Singapore?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

i am afraid to fly beacuse i always think that it is going to crash.
