Think it is spectacular wherever you are. Like watching it out of the window but the most memorable was on honeymoon in The Maldives whilst on a sunset cruise with dolphins all around! Amazing.

Outside my front door!
I live at the top of a hill in West Yorkshire. The front of our house faces west and we get some utterly amazing sunsets here...our front room sometimes turns purple from the light...it's beautiful. Having said that, with the back facing east we have some stunning sunrises as well...lucky us!

I am in Michigan, and Lake Michigan is my most favoured of the Great Lakes. To watch a sunset there, any summer month you chose is breath taking! Especially near Silver Lake...hope you get there sometime.

on a small boat on the Great Barrier Reef, off the coast of Australia - absolutely nothing to block the view so I could see the entire horizon and even the curvature of the earth. A magnificent blood-red sky that melded into shades of mauve and gold ... spectacular. I took several photos which didn't do it justice. Unforgettable ... I can still picture it in my head.
