I'm worried about it being the hurricane season over though ?? And although I am olive skinned with long dark hair and I love hot weather, should I use a sunscreen of more then factor 10 ?

To the illest : If you had read my question properly you would have noted that I said should I wear a sunscreen OF FACTOR 10 OR MORE, not should I bother with sunscreen.

Yep - it's very hot in Florida in June. If you are right on the ocean - it will not be as hot - due to the breeze.

The hurricane season will not have started yet in June.

And you should ALWAYS use a sunscreen with a factor of 30 or above - if you want to be safe.

Have fun!!

I went for per week in June 2007. It change into 90s popular. It were given as a lot as extreme 90s some days. in case you actually like the nice and cozy temperature, then bypass for it. yet carry a good number of sunscreen for your Irish epidermis lol. I tan nicely and that i burned! It cools down at evening inspite of the indisputable fact that and this is great.

Florida in June is no joke, especially with the summers getting hotter and the winters being warmer (the "el nino" effect). I would strongly suggest that you use the highest sunscreen factor you can find and nothing below spf 15. Trust me on this one, you will be glad you did.

June is one of the worst 3 months for the heat, and June 1st is the start of hurricane season....if that helps you any.:)...but i have lived here all my life, i'm still alive and cancer free!
Just be sure to drink plenty of liquids to stay hydrated, gets lots of rest and if you feel yourself getting overly hot, like chills when you know you should be burning up and you stop sweating...seek emergency help. alot of people from the north are not used to the heat and have heat strokes without realizing it til its to late.
and ummm..all you folks saying hurricane season dont start til later in the year CALL your weather man!!!,,,its June 1st!!,,my birthday, always a nasty little reminder:(
