I am moving from Colorado back to Orlando after 3 years. I was wondering if anyone knew of any good jobs in the Orlando area that might be available around Feb. 1??
I have experience in the insurance industry (agent), as well as the hospitality industry (valet, doorman). Any help would be awesome!!
I need to make AT LEAST 40k/year. (I didn't realize how expensive Orlando had gotten in the last few years)

My brother and I are saving money to send my parents on a cruise to the Caribbean in 2008. I know I'm planning very early, but I'm wondering for people who have gone there or just have a lot of cruise line experience - I know Royal Caribbean is suppose to be a very nice line, but I'm wondering what Princess is like. I looked them up online and I'm interested in their mini suites, they look nice and roomy, as far as rooms go.

Also, are there any spots that you just "have to go to" when you cruise the Caribbean? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure that we're all going to go, the four of us, I'll be 25 by then and my brother will be 22, so I want to find something that will be comfortable and fun for my parents and for us. Thanks so much!

why is it that it was fine for the Arabs to conquer Jerusalem and now, Jews can't occupy their holy land. The Jews were first there.

We've scheduled a Hawaiian cruise on the Spirit of America, and may want to schedule our own land excursions. I am told they will pick you up at the dock and return you to the ship.

Are you familiar with Hawaiian tourism, esp. cruising? If you are, what suggestions would you have? What's the best way to save money on excursions or other things to do while in port? Is there perhaps an agency over there that can book adventures & excursions for us?

What excursions have you done and enjoyed the most? We're a retired couple, so hiking the Na Pali coast is probably out, but we're open to any suggestions.

Also, if you have sailed on the Spirit of America, we'd appreciate any advice about the ship, ports of call, or cruising in general. This is "free-style" cruising, and anything you could tell us about that would also be appreciated.

Thanks a lot for your help!

I'm not looking for "because that's the rules." I want a reason that a birth certificate is superior to a photo ID.

I want to have a movie viewing of an older movie in New York City for a medium size group of people. The hotel that I booked does not have a confrence room. I need a place that is cheap (hourly rates) to hold this event. It has to be in New York City.

We are taking a Hawaiian cruise on the Spirit of America. Their prices for land excursions seem pretty high compared to what we've gotten on land on earlier trips. We're considering scheduling our own excursions. I understand they will pick you up at the dock and return you to the ship.

Hi,

It is clear to me China is an amazing place and teaching in China for 6 to 12 months would be unforgettable experience, and possibly life altering (for the better, of course). I have read a lot about 30 somethings or older going to China to teach English -- but what about 20 somethings fresh out of college or grad school? For a 20 something who has taught in China, what do you wish you knew before going, both for worse and for better?

Thank you so much!!

Dave

Just curious - I plan to travel the instant I get out of college. The only thing I need to contemplate is how I'm going to pay for it. Now, you should probably know that I am a very ambitious traveler and plan to do a LOT while I'm gone. I can't see myself being able to save enough money (well, I'm trying..I only have a part time job since I'm a full time student), so I'm considering taking out a loan, doing my travel thing, then coming back and paying it all off. Good idea? Bad idea? Should I lay off the idea of travelling as much as I can before I settle down? Any input is appreciated!

I love it all (unless it has fish in int).

Oh, and for those who do not know where the West Indies is, it is all of the Caribbean islands in the Atlantic. Like Jamaica, Cuba, Puerto Rico, etc.
