when i turn 18 in a few months a plan on moving to nyc, maybe with a roomate in manhatton. and i whould like to know were is a nice place to live in an apartment that doesnt cost to much??? please help out....i know new york is expencive so you dont need to remind me............

look around you could prob find one for like 1000 a month

If i were you, i'd stay in school and work on your spelling skills. If you must move to New York, Manhattan is not the best place to start. Try Brooklyn. It's less expensive, safer, with some nice neighborhoods. It's about 10-20 minutes into the city depending on where in Brooklyn you are. Also try Queens. Cheap rents, hipster crowd, close to the city. Good luck!

manhatten is going to cost you $2000 for a place. Doesn't matter if you look uptown, midtown, or downtown. Its not cheap anywhere. $2000 will get you a crap place. If you want to save money go look in Brooklyn or The Bronx. Plus you better have a good job lined up. Daily living expenses like food, entertainment, comuting, etc. are very expensive as well.
