I need some good ideas on some kid friendly ideas for a vacation. My 10 year old is not what I am worried about. I am worried about doing something that my 3 year old would enjoy. We will be driving to our destination...We live in Indiana. So we wont be driving to California. Keep it kinda close.

why is it that in the following states is the BAC (blood alcohol content) for P platers is 0.00
New South Wales/ACT
Tasmania-where we live
Victoria
South Australia
Northern Territiory
Queensland
and in WA the BAC for P platers is 0.02
ideas people? because it really sucks because Laura is still on her WA ticket which means she can drive after drinking but I cant..
why is this??

I have only my employer ID and it's not state or Federal. I have a valid Birth Certificate. But all of my other important ID has expired: Passport and Drivers License. I have to be in LA in the evening at the Kodak Theatre on Thursday, November 16th, but i'm told i will not be allowed on the plane without valid ID. Please advise me as i regret paying a lot of money for an important televised event in LA that is taping for TV on Nov. 16th to be viewed on Dec. 5th,thanks !!

I drove up to Washington DC last week from Raleigh, and I had my mapquest route with me just in case, but I didn't need it and I just followed the Interstate signs all the way, and it got me there.

I would always choose daytime if possible. There are three advantages. Firstly, you get to see more of the country you are visiting. Second, you'll have a much more comfortable sleep in a hotel, than on a train. Finally, it works out cheaper. If you get a sleeper, you have to pay for that plus reservation, on top of the ticket price. You can easily find a hotel room that is cheaper than the sleeper alone. Also if you get an unreserved second class ticket in the daytime, you'll have a better chance of interacting with locals.
