why is it that in the following states is the BAC (blood alcohol content) for P platers is 0.00
New South Wales/ACT
Tasmania-where we live
Victoria
South Australia
Northern Territiory
Queensland
and in WA the BAC for P platers is 0.02
ideas people? because it really sucks because Laura is still on her WA ticket which means she can drive after drinking but I cant..
why is this??

WA lags behind the other states. I grew up in Perth but now live in Sydney and I can tell you - growing up in Perth you dont even realise that the vast majority of the population of Australia are living on the Eastern seaboard.

Having said that WA is the most beautiful state with the best beaches in Australia.

The states still have limited sovereignty to make legislation for their own people. I doubt that Laura would escape prosecution at 0.02% BAC in other states just because she had a WA ticket.

because it is controlled by the individual statess there are descrepencies I rather doubt that the 0.02 BAC will stay in western australia

simple really. just DON'T drink and drive any amount any time any where.
