Okay, so I am curious as to what everyone thinks about this.

I have a trip planned to fly to Tegucigalpa, Honduras from Georgia alone. My mother is VERY (cannot emphasis the word "very" enough) concerned and worried about this but I am quite the opposite! I am very excited and look forward to my first time traveling outside the U.S.

I could understand my mother's reasons for being worried if I was going to be alone the WHOLE time, but my fiance and his family are going to be meeting me at the airport. I will only be alone on the plane ride as well as during any layovers.

Like I said, I am curious to know other people's opinions on this and what they think of a woman who is traveling alone...and with it being my first time outside the country.

Does my mother really have ANY reason to worry about me?

And any other information about Tegucigalpa you can provide would be great too! Good or bad is fine with me as long as it's truthful!

Thanks!!

when a muslim woman before said she was a muslim in england and told everyone to deal wit it everyone agreed. but when i expressed my opinion everyone called me a racist cos i said no, i should not have to deal wit it. why cos im white peoplem say that i am racist for expressing my views where as if a muslim does it they are not, that they are standing up for their rights.

It is a spring break trip in April, but registration is now. We'll have afternoons and evenings free. I'm not interested in old christian architecture or art galleries or drinking wine. Is there anything exciting to do there that would be worth all that money?

I found info on being an airline courier, where the airline uses your luggage space to ship their package, and you ride along, with just a carryon, for big discount or free. anyone ever actually do this? Is this legit?
