Arrange for a daytrip bus tour to the Wine Country, Yosemite National Park, or Muir Woods from the Wharf.

Visit the Legion of Honor -- a replica of one of the palaces in France (Any Geary or Sacramento Street bus), Asian Art Museum (Any Metro/BART to "Civic Center" station), lively Latin Quarter (BART to "16th Street" station or "24th Street" station, Metro J-Line), and Golden Gate Park (N-Line Metro to "9th Avenue and Irving").

Take BART to "Berkeley" station to see the University of California.

Take a ferry from the Ferry Building downtown to Six Flags Marine World theme park (in Vallejo, note that you'll get a free bus transfer to the park with a "DayPass" ticket).

Take Caltrain (4th Street and King) to "Mountain View" station. Transfer to VTA light-rail for Great America theme/water park and NASA Ames Research Center.

Good sushi restaurants next to Golden Gate Park along the 9th Avenue corridor (Ebisu, Hotei, etc.), best steaks in the city are at Tadich Grill on California Street, Hayes Street corridor is great for European bistros (Absinthe, Suppenkuche), Fort Mason's Greens is good for veggie lovers, and the Latin Quarter has authentic Mexican burritos (which are a full meal in and of themselves).

Michael Mina's in the St. Francis and The Dining Room in the Ritz-Carleton are famous hotel restaurants (the same chefs have restaurants with the MGM Grand and Caesars Palace casinos in Vegas, respectively).

I see that you have been to the Golden Gate bridge...well I walked the entire bridge with my family and it was an out-of-this-world experience. It took us 45 minutes each way. We got great and awesome pictures. Walking the bridge is the ultimate. You have amazing views of the SF Bay hard to get in other places or tourist spots.
Been to Alcatraz? That was my second favorite place. Book in advance. I visited SF in February. It was great!
We stayed at this family EconoLodge on Lombard Street: a good deal for a preppy neighborhood.

Take BART across the bay to Berkley, and go to Chez Pannise for dinner.

If u are in the market area of San Francisco go to the Sushi Restraunt that is about two blocks away from the Hilton. It is great. Head towards the bay it is on the northside of the street. They have great Sushi.

First crush is an excellent restaurant. Careful when you go to Fisherman's Wharf--there's a creepy homeless guy who jumps out and scares people and then he asks you for money like you owe him for scarying you. Actually-watch out for the homeless people in general. They're really pushy in SF.

If you haven't been to Ocean Beach yet you should stop by there and eat at the Cliff House.
