We got back from Lanzarote last week. Whilst there my daughter got an ear infection. I took her to the local private clinic. We were there 5 minutes. He gave me a prescription and we were told to return in 2 days. We went back and were there another 10 minutes. He syringed her ear (basically washed it out with water and some other stuff). For 15 minutes of their time it cost us 265 Euros (£178). I paid for the prescription separately. It was Scandinavisk Klinik Euroklinik. I was gobsmacked when I got the bill! Has anyone else used this or any other clinic there and been shocked by the cost? The Euro health card couldn't be used by the way.

I'm off to New York with my boyfriend in Dec and have no idea how much money i'll need. All my accomodation and transfers are paid and hoping not to do much shopping. Can anyone recommened how much i need to do all the attractions and eat etc? I'm there for 5 nights?? Any help would be much appriciated :)

I can not understand why Putin is not supporting the Coalition Forces that are in Afghanistan.
His Troops failed miserably to defeat the Taliban,and pulled out,but now our Troops are there surely you would have thought he would have offered some support after all we helped them in a big way in the second world war.
Russia used to be a Superpower,so has their fuse fizzled out?

my GF is flying in for a month-arriving right near new year-december 29 and she wants me to go back to Western Australia with her when she heads home end of Januaray, now I wonder-do I head to WA with her or have her move down here-to Tassie???

i want to move out and leave mum/dad, she's offered to pay for a house in either state and if we live in WA it'll be in Perth and in Tas we'll live along the North West Coast-Devonport and further west.....

so WHAT SHOULD I DO?? and yes I love Laura, like nothing else, shes my everything and whatever we do its mutral decision but I'd like some imput..

My family and I are visiting the island in November, but we haven't booked this excursion through the cruise operator we are using. Thing is we really fancy this trip now, but have found that the excursions booked through the operator are fully booked. What I want to know, is do you have to book in advance to use the tram? Or can you just show up whenever you want, and jump on the tram? 3rdly, is the Tram any good?
