I'm not sure if Japan has a set minimum wage, but I'd like to know what kind of pay to expect from the lower-end jobs. Like cashier at some place, fast-food, etc. same type of jobs here, but in Japan, what kind of salary would I expect? It seems that Japan's economy stays in Japan, so wouldn't their minimum wage be higher than ours, or at least somewhat better? Any help would be appreciated.

we already hired an attorney to help and make sure there won't be any problems, but it took over 1 month just to get to information right on the application to send to the immigration office. Now they have my 130 paperwork, but refused my 129 paperwork because they said they recently "updated" it. Is this going to be the way it's going to be throughout the entire process. I was told by a officer at the immigration place when I called that the process is easy and takes 6-9 months. All the attorneys I talked with say 7-8 months average. But I also hear different imformation, that the process can get complicated and be 2 years or more. What is your experience doing this?

Will go to india at the end of september, will spend a month there. I know an air ticket to China in Sri Lankan Airlines is only 540 dollars, round trip. From Beijing the train to Tibet costs 140 dollars each way and last three days each way. My question is, can I apply for the tibet Visa in Delhi, and can I buy the train tickets to Tibet in Beijing. Of course will apply for a chinese visa too. did hear you may buy the tickets if you are at the train station waiting for a cancellation.

my boss is paying me in cash (no tax) and although i have asked him to put me on the books he refuses, I know i should just quit but, this is the first job I have had in 12 years since having my son and I really need the experience to get my foot back in the door. Is there anyone I can report him to without getting myself in trouble. I am hoping this might give him a scare and he will do the right thing, no offense but he is chinese and very nasty and needs to learn a lesson, he makes enough to pay properly but just wont.

Help!!!! My brother's stuck in Ibiza airport with no money and no flight till friday. There's no Western Union so no way of getting money to him. I have a laser card for flight but does anyone know how I can get money to him, are there such things as airport vouchers or something I can pay for from here so he can eat etc. till his flight Friday???????????????
