Buy a scanner that has air band. Radio Shack has them. BTW, they're very boring to listen to ! Talk is fast and short...I used to listen to my neighbor's cordless phones ! Radio Shack has a book called Police Call, give it a looksee...

Surrounding your airport they shoudl have an observation area. There will be a radio station posted to listen to air traffic control.

You can use a scanner like Radio Shack sells. Do a google search for scanner codes in your area...all airports use different frequencies.

The best one is: www.atcmonitor.com

Are you thinking of becoming a ATC'er? It's a great career.

Got to live atc.net mobile. I do it sometimes. You don't have to buy a scanner. I just use my phone. But make sure you go to the mobile live atc.net. It's much more easier to use.
